Thats understandable. Time is money.

Luckily I have a pick and pull a few miles from me....and they also have about 20 or so XJs. It comes in handy a lot. Too bad they dont have any 97+ XJs though.

Meh. I had the exact same thing in mine, granted with no temp gauge.

I put in the plate style cooler from an explorer as it was only $15 from the junkyard for insurance.

Again, my friend runs the same setup with a temp gauge and his tranny very rarely gets up to 180* if ever.

FWIW, my AW4 has 300k on it and still going strong.

the junk yards around me want 35 for a fan shroud when I could get a brand new one from the dealership for 40! so I dont think that I would have the same luck as some of you all do. Should I try and swap it out and get a bigger one? or no?
