I have a Command Trac tranfer case (I think, its 2hi 4hi and 4 Lo) on my 94 4dr Auto. Now from all the seaching I'm doing I dont undersatnd something....is it good or is it bad?? Which is the better T-case?? I know I might be hasta with this question, but I just cant find out any good information using the search. Thanks - Joe

I know this, I was searching the entire forum and was getting a lot of carbage results. The reason I asked here is because everyone seems to be pretty helpful...and hey, this is my home. Thanks by the way, I was thinking the other one was the better...see, shows how much the forum search did.
Yup - nothin' wrong with the 231 (I've got three of them, with two in active service right now.) I don't have much trouble with the 242 - but it's in my wife's XJ, and she doesn't flog her truck around like I do mine!
Welcome aboard! I know you're likely to hear "Do a search" a lot, but searching here is like searching anywhere else on the internet - it takes a little practise to set up your "knowledge filters..."
