Torn up fender!!

Just got back from one heck of a good weekend in Arizona. One problem though......lost the upper bump stop on the right front and then proceeded to push my wheel right up into the furthest most recesses of the well. The tire caught the body work and pushed (pulled?) it in. Kinda tore it up real good!!
I am running a RE 4.5" lift with 32" BFG TAs. Any suggestions for clearence? Has anyone run those fibre glass pre run style fenders? If I can get more clearance can I just forget about the rubber stops?

What part of the bumpstop did you loose? The rubber or the metal?
