Finally a nice day to clean up the Heepers since I installed the Rack. The install was pretty straight forward. I just picked another Cold and Windy Day to install it.

Looks good. Anything you found out during the install that you'd wished you knew earlier to make it easier?

Thats one clean XJ. Now go get it dirty:looney:

Only info is keep all the Bolts loose and the last one will be a PITA, I used a com-aong to pull it over to fit. Just read the install instructions ahead of time to get them down.

One thing I had to redue was the bottom of the cage, the open 3 sided welds face DOWN, I had to pull it apart and make that switch.

I would apply for a different lic. plate. Other than that, looks clean.

X2 on the plate lol

I know this is a bit off-topic, but where'd you get the killer rear light guards?

I made them, that set was my experimental set, after several pairs, I have the bending of each solid bar down to the degree and length. My next pair I will build and replace these.

on mine the front holes would not line up. I took a super heavy duty truck bed tiedown and cranked it as hard as it went and then some while having people push both sides in to make it fit.

If all the bolt are loose you should be able to use a strap to get that last one. Good luck
