Top 25 Mods/Upgrades List?

Has anyone every done something like this? If not I think it would be fun to put together and a great help for new folks. I know it would be a great help for me as I'm not an expert.

I request we stay away from brands/vendors, but just put together a list of necessary component upgrades like:

- Suspension Lift Kit w/ Long Arms
- Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE)
- etc


Anyone up to help put something together we could sticky (if it doesn't already exist)? If so, post them here and I'll start updating things and we would create a new thread and put it up.

The problem with this is Cherokees are like legos and everyone loves their own mods. you might find a couple everyone agrees on.

This. For example some folks just want to be at 2" of lift and long arms may not be helpful.

Of everything, I would say my stroker. After that would be locked D44's front and year. The two wheel low upgrade would be a close third.

Very timely topic. I am either going to put a Renix system in my Rambler stroker or slap on my old HEI with the Clifford 4bbl intake and a 650 CFM Holley. Old Skool roket Sientist. If the 3 45 DCOE Webers would clear the Hydroboost I would go back to them.

1. WJ front brakes
2. ZJ rear brakes
3. Headlight relays + higher wattage bulbs
4. Skid plates
5. ZJ fan clutch
6. ZJ tie rod
7. Cooper 30x9.50 tires
8. Add metal to lower control arms.

The lifts I had on it, the electric fan I tried, the interior mods - all "meh".
