Took the XJ to Moab

Day 1 pics Moab Rim

Mines the desert camo XJ, AKA brown turd.

Kimo in the unlimited, Byron in the Blue Rubicon, Justin in the red XJ that rolled, Daniel in the Red XJ with half doors, Jim in the gold Sahara, Dean in the blue Wrangler, Bruce in the Gold Rubicon, Luis in the green XJ

Ist Obstacle

Justin got thru after a little bit of work

Daniel didn't make it far, I guess this is his 3rd or 4th yoke he's broke

So we hung out for a bit while he pulled the shaft and enjoyed the wild life

Daniel headed back to town to find a yoke

Z-notch, not many pics of anyone flexing out or anything. Most took the easy line.

I have do have some good video though.

The unfortunate roll coming down the Z-notch, Luis was just getting out to go down and spot I guess, I was way at the back, and it just got away from Justin.

Day 2

Entrance

Ledge before the creek

Some tough ledges a little ways up the trail

I think this is Johnsons hole under the towing buttes as Kimo describes it!

Hanging on the cliff edge

This drop off gets your attention

And the fantastic view on the top

everyone was ok in the roll the jeep is gonna be sick i just finished drawing up the plans for the chop job i will post info as i build which will start with in the week

nope not at all the biggest damage to the undercarrage (sp) was i bent one of the lower control arm mounts at the axel but i went out and bought some hd mounts the next day to mount to the axel so i will be doing that here in the next couple weeks befor i can start driving it again
