It actually feels great. Now no more rubbing or tearing up my meat.
What's the best tool to use to make smooth, rounded cuts on the front fenders? My work with a cut-off wheel is sub par.
the best tool to use is beer and my place
IMO jigsaw/airsaw/sawzall makes the fender jump around too much and you end up with a really rough cut and warped fenders. cutoff wheel and patience will give you the best final outcome.
This is what fellow naxja members are for.
I cut while another one held the fender in place
Also, the use of a fine blade and high speed on the jigsaw makes it much less likely to jump around.
I did it my first time with a cutoff wheel. It works OK, except that it burns the paint off and it is a much bigger PITA to follow a line with sparks flying everywhere.
