Too wide for CHP?

Yep, fix-it tickets went up to $25 per violation, so do the math if you get more than one violatoin on a ticket, adds up pretty quick, especially if someone feels like messing around.
Jimbo - how long do you have to get it signed off??? I'd say mail it to me and problem is solved ;)

Im having the same problem. i need to cut more but what do i do for tire coverage to keep it all legal. i bent my fenders over the weekend wheeling on the coast not to mention every time i do some light wheeling i get mud all over my truck and then when i was it i scratch the hell out of my paint and glass.

No recent pix but I am running on 35x12.50 Mud Terrains on 3.75" bs and cut flares. Been like this for about 2 years and never been pulled over.

Like BC said, run it as is then if you get pulled over fix it then.

This is what mine looks like.

Knock on wood, the CHP have not had a problem with me. Only time Ive had a problem was when the roads were wet and I was shooting up a rather large rooster tail right onto the windshield of the cruiser behind me.

The CHP actually likes to see really wide axles or tires because then they know that you are stable and less likely to roll over in a wreck.

True story.

I'd swear that the CHP on 101 south of Gilroy is sponsored by bushwacker!
