can anyone tell me about the tomken lifts? i'm looking at their 4" ultra flex lift. what tires fit, 31's or 32's? dont want to go to radical, wife's car.

How tall is your wife, and does she know what you're doing?
I'm serious in asking this. I have a Comanche with a 4" lift on 31" tires, and getting in and out is a PITA. I'm 6'-3" and it seems like that height is just the wrong height -- too high to step into, but not high enough to climb into.
Before proceeding, I would find a fellow XJer somewhere with that much lift and have your wife get into and out of his/her XJ a few times. If the lift and tires means she's going to get mud all over the back of her new skirt every time she drives, there will be no joy in your home.

It may also go the other way and she may end up wanting something bigger. My wife loved mine when I did it and now she drives a 2002 TJ with 33's and a 4" lift. And every day I hear how big hers is compared to mine. She is only 5' tall too.
I'm with Eagle on this one. Ask! My wife thought 5" was great, until now. She is 3 months away from bringing the next jeeper into the family and not that happy about our dd being such a workout to get into and out of, with our without the mud on her skirt.
