Yeah, I know. Brain dump last night for some reason. Somehow I started thinking in terms of wheel travel, in regard to how much travel said shock would "allow" for the wheel. Never mind me sometimes. I'm blonde.
It *might* be because when I ordered my coilovers, I had to provide the "wheel travel" measurment for them to base what travel shock body I needed.
However, articulation isnt what I was measuring. I would define articulation as the the degree to which the axle will, well, articulate underneath the vehicle. I.E. how many degrees from the parallel of the chassis to which the suspension will flex.
I was simply looking at *wheel* travel, in cooperation with *shock* travel. Just because I say I have such and such up/down travel, doesnt mean I am referencing articulation. If both sides are at their full up/down travel, them I'm simply measuring droop or compression, which is directly relative to your shock's range of motion.
