TnT Long Arm Install - Sat. 8/27 in San Jose

I did the TNT y link on my big jeep a few years back and it sucked by my self....it was heavy and drilling through frame stiffeners always brings the suck

we plan to do a redneck install.
no drilling, just stick weld the fukker in place! :jester:

Don't buy anything special for me. I'll supervise anything.

Damm, Now i want to go.. I will even bring the small shirt. party1:

I'd like to say I wish I could be there, but I am leaving for Hawaii and it would be a lie. Be back on the 8th. Hold down the fort. XOXOXO

if you really aer planning on welding it to the frame how will you remove the tcase down the road? or are you saying just weld it in place to drill holes?

josh only mall crawls his junk so his t-case will last forever so stick welding the skid in place is the strongest, bestest, fastest way to go. any other installation method is just plain silly, & we do not do silly work at the fun factory.

Tim's just being dumb. We're not welding the cross-member to the Jeep, we're welding the Jeep to the cross-member...its a lot stronger that way.

(PS - Tim was joking, we're not welding anything.)

hahahahaha! i like it.
did you get the new style 2 peice cross member? i have the old 1 peice style...

i plan to weld everything i come in contact with. metal or skin, i'm not picky.
i weld with the same zest as a drunken sailor visiting a whorehouse on leave. :gee:

wow. i like to wheel like a drunken sailor i like the style...

Did we get any pic's of the install & funny fest at Tim's house?

I don't think we took any pics. It was me, Tim, Ed, and Chad. We were going slow (it got hot after lunch) and only got the belly pan and transfer case skid mounted. We'll get the arms done in a week or two. We also go Chad's front tow hooks on and new rear shackles on. Good times laying in the dirt.

And my ZJ tie rod. ;-) Sorry, no pictures.

Tim, do you offer a warranty with your welds?

I always forget that you welded my tie rod insert, therefore, every sharp turn is a life and death situation.
