Doesn't seem to be coming from any where in-particular. It feels similar to when my U-joint went bad in the XJ...
checked u-joints at the axels, but skid protection really limits me getting too close to the front output of the transfercase. All the joints and play in the drive line seemed fine (as not really any).
I rotated the tires once and the problem has not gone away, however I did remove nails form two different tires (2 different times); maybe i should get all of the tires rebalanced.
The Xj is driving fine, i just havent taken it on any long trips lately. problem acted up when I had it on the road for extended periods of time and havent really seen it since i re did the ignition system (plugs, points, coil, wire)
However, i just got side swipped driving it to sears yesterday night on Almonesson rd. 18yr old kid either went through or skidded past a stop sign at the intersection of Lowerlanding/Good Intent and Almonesson. I had already made my turn and he hit me right in the pasenger door/rocker pannel, $ucks! :rattle: wasn't my fault, but I sure that I will get screwed by my insurance co anyway. A lot more damage to his car (VX jetta) then mine. :sunshine: mine is mearly cosmetic
