Does anybody have any experience with "Super Sport HT" tires? They are an all terrain radial available from walmart the 35X12.5 X15 is 118 bucks! That is pretty darn cheap they have 30X9.5's for 70? The tread is pretty aggressive looking for an all terrain.
Thanks

It's not really an all terrain as much as it is a mud tire. My friend ran them in a 225/75/15 on his Sami and they did really well in the mud.

They have no siping so wet roads were scary when stopping.

I have one for a spare........I have no idea of the performance as it still has nubs........{how's that for contributing?}

My daughter has run them on her Bronco II , 30x9.50's. And my son ran them on his Toyota pickup, 33x12.50's. They ran GREAT. No complaints. My son was working as assistant manager in the tire and lube at Walmart, and according to what he was told, they are actually made by Goodyear, and under contract with Walmart, Walmart puts their name on them..............

Hope this helps,
Casper

BTW,
The tires that my Daughter is running now, 30x9.50's, are the ones that I ran on my XJ on my first run with NAXJA in Colorado on FF'99. And she is still running them.......

A buddy of mine at work runs the 35x12.5's on his FSChevy truck and it looks like they're wearing pretty damn good. The only concern I have with them is sidewall puncture resistance. He's definately not tested them for that.

I have them on my 88 Ford F150 31X10.5's

work great, a little loud at highway speeds...

I like the fact that I can pump em up to 50 psi(max tire pressure) :D gained about 2 miles per gallon :)

I installed them myself, hell I didn't even try to balance them... work great. no shimmy or shake....

Which Wal*Mart did you find them at for 70 bucks???? Both of them near here have them at 94.96 each for 30 x 9.5

WHY?

Why would ANYONE buy anything at a store that employed and is responsable for the deaths of foreign laborers at a facility that was attaching "made in USA" labels on items being imported to the U.S.A.? WHY?

why buy from Wally world? price, price, price. it sucks that they come into a town cause the other stores to close, but most people only see $$$.

T-Bent, making purchases based on political reasons is liberalism at its highest.

2offroad, I live in a town of 2000 people, the only tire dealer sells goodyears, at three times what you can pay for them 20 miles away.

yeah yeah yeah, "Wal mart killed the little guy" I am well aware of the Alan Jackson hit. However, in today's economy unless you make an abundance of tax sheltered dollars you have to stretch everyone of them. I do not make an abundance of tax sheltered dollars, I work for the U.S. Navy.....Hell, I have probably been responsible for "the deaths of foreign laborers at a facility that was attaching "made in USA" labels on items being imported to the U.S.A.?" I am certain I have been aboard at least one ship that launched at least one missle or aircraft at at least one country that operated wal mart, or Nike, or Kathy Lee or whoever sweat shops. I can't let myself get caught up in loosing sleep over s**t like that, there are enough things in this country to loose sleep over.
