Tire inflation gun?

I've been in the market for a nice tire inflation gun but read drastically varying reviews on them. I bought a middle ground($) one a while back with mixed results. The gun itself is fine but the gauge is rather poor. Like most of the ones I've seen the gauge goes up to 200psi which I will never see on my tires. The dial is hard to read when you want something like 32psi not 34psi because of the large range on the dial. The PSI markings seem to always been the smallest numbers too.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a gun or how about the idea of replacing the gauge on the one I have? I figure the gun is perfectly fine, what if I add another gauge with a much lower max PSI and better quality/accurate?

A pic would be helpful if you want to replace the gauge.
if its a standard bourdon tube with a pipe nipple type, they can be had in nearly any range.

WE use a digital one at work, I can see what brand it is.

sounds like you picked up one for a heavy duty vehicle (equipment, semi trucks, etc... they use a much higher PSI)

is this the type you have?

if so, just put a lower PSI gauge on it, problem solved.

I have this style, but i put a clip on chuck on it.

it works ok and maxes out at 68 psi but i'd much rather have something with a bigger gauge on it like the one above.

The first gun is very much what I have. When shopping around I remember them all having the high PSI gauge except the pricier brands had better gauges. I will look at replacing the gauge, I really like the gun over all. The clip on chuck and the air release button are really handy to have for sure.

Digi gauge = win. I have a handheld digital gauge that I use in conjunction with air pressure gauge. Altho, mine is fairly accurate.
