Hey guys my name is Colin and a few of the people on here have met me before. I'm going to start moving on with my build and getting this project back in gear. Figured I would put a post up here first. I want to become more active on the forum and get to know the NAC better. Attend more M&Gs and go wheeling with you guys.

so this is my jeep now in the progress stage known as shelf... which is why i'm going to start working on it again.

background: was my DD/weekend wheeler for the last year or so with a lot of different lifts i pieced together. 5 months ago bought a 92 Dodge D350 Cummins to DD (em-pee-gees)/tow crap with. Time to stop lying-mostly bought it because it was a first gen dodge club cab and i have a dodge purchasing problem aaand it had a 12v. Sold my locked d30/welded 8.8 combo with 4.10s, RK steering, blah blah blah and put bone stock 3.07 axles under the XJ to roll on. Planned for a ton swap... scratch that decided to go 1/2 ton 44s front and rear for now. then... nothing. i have a lot of vehicles/projects so XJ went on the back burner. 87 dodge power ram, 01 dodge 1500, 74 dart, 92 sportster, and the list of disassembled vehicles goes on. too many things at once? maybe so....

theres some old crap in the back and more importantly my new parts. stiffeners i've had for a long time along with the DOM for my 3 link and boxes of heims/brackets from ruffstuff. once the unibody is done i'll move onto the axles collecting dust

04 blaster i just sold actually. weisco internals and such, factory exhaust, sightly smaller rear tires and upgraded sprockets/chain. fastest i went was 65mph wide open on the street next to my buddys dual purpose. really surprised it got up there but i never doubt a little 2 stroke

nice. I should have known when i didnt see dual exhaust. friend of mine had a stock 02 blaster its a really fun little machine. it is surprising how fast those little motors go.

hey buddy

440 can go in right after I blow the 218k and counting 4.0L , swap in 318 to make people mad bc its underrated and awesome. definitely not a good v8 swap for bolt in power but I like to think I know something about building powerful 318s. I mean 90% of anything i've ever owned has had one

So I just got my new shocks in today. Bought some Bilstein 5150s that were used for mach up on someone's rig and never run. Pair of 10" 5150s and a pair of 12" 5150s with bumps.

Also those are my chips in there too I guess

If you wear boots for 14 hard hours a day they need to be good ones. I get a year out of a pair of loggers working my first 9 hours a day in a junkyard. Standing in gas/diesel/atf on a concrete floor or walking on crushed stone and dirt. The other roughly 5 hours aren't much better haha. Any other boots I have bought in the past lasted no more than 3 months before they were disintegrating. Chippewa it is.
