Well...no.
If you chop a Comanchee, you will have a Comanchee. A Cheromanchee is a chapped XJ. That aside....sure give it a chop and lets see how it looks.

Yeah, the pick is the back-ass end of the comanche on top of my Cherokee that is soon to be part of my XJ.

Post some pics as you progress ,Most of the conversions I've seen are different in some way or another. I've started a similar conversion on my XJ using another hatch and hatch opening, I think its going to look pretty good. AS you probably know the chopping part is the easy part, putting it back is the tough part.Let us know how it turns out, good luck!

Thanks man. Your project sounds cool. Do you have any pics ?
I've just made the cuts and am in the process of fitting the hatch opening in place, not alot to see yet other than me scratching my head.. lol. I'm going to work on it pretty hard this weekend,i'll snap some shots and post them next week.Remember the old saying "measure twice cut once".
