I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to XJSTRYKER's wife. She suffered a slight head injury and was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Everythings seems to be fine but they are keeping her for a few days for observation because she cannot keep any food down. Please if everyone could say a few prayers and keep them in your thoughts it would be very much appreciated!

Will do.

Certainly.

yep

Just became a member of this forum on Sunday and for all of you to have my prayers in mind is incredible yall are some good people and cant thank yall enough. Mcnamagg is a true friend and definitly someone you can count on. Thanks man.

So here is the story!

So we are cleaning up my new Jeep Monday some. And she sees a quarter on the ground bends over to pick it up and coming back up WHAM hits the corner of one of my cabinets. She seemed fine till we went to bed she then started getting dizzy and puking. Finally made it to sleep and slept reasonably well that night. The next morning she got up with me and helped me get the boys off too school. I went on in to work she seemed like she slept it off. She called me later that day (tuesday) said she is puking again and dizzy and headache and what not. So i made her an appt with or local doc for the next morning. Well Wed. was her worst day she had a pain level 10 migraine couldnt walk and kept dryheaving. The Doc immiediatly refered us to the ER and she was admitted. No drugs helped her that day morphine, demerol nothing. They did a Cat scan but it was clear just a concussion. Today she has been doing a lot better. They wouldnt let me take her home tonight Becuase she is still week in motor skills on the left side of her. She had an MRI today and we are waiting on the results of it. But she is eating and the migraine pain has greatly reduced.

So once again thank you all. And thanks Andy (mcnamagg)
And i am sorry for your loss bud i know Henry meant a lot to you

Anything I can do bud. This is the main reason I told you about NAXJA. They are by far the best group of guys and gals you will ever meet. Always willing to lend a hand and help when needed. If you need Kerry and I to keep and eye on the boys let me know. Talk to you soon.

Stroke. One of the most often missdiagnosed ailments of women under 60. They just don't fit the profile.

Read though this list:

Also refer to this link on TIAs:

Get her to a specialist.

It took the Doctors at the local UW Hospital ER almost 11 hours to diagnose my Wifes stroke. Mainly because She was 35 at the time.

Good Luck!

X2 I didnt think of that. Deff worth checking into.

Well today started out bad for her she isnt going to be released today either they started her on some new meds today. Havnt heard nothing from the Doc on the MRI yet but they started her on new meds so thats got me a lil spooked. The idea of a stroke scares me but it is something to bring up. Once again thanks everyone.

Hey guys its XJ Stryker's wife I got out of the hospital today! YAY! Well the MRI came back negative, so the docs conclussion is that I suffered from a severe concussion, where I hit my head I hit a nerve which has caused me to now suffer from chronic migraines its nothing permentant will eventually fade away but for now I am on bed rest until I regain my strength. I just want to say Thank you to everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Special thanks to my husband for taking care of everything, Andy and Kerry for helping out. Thanks everyone. God Bless

Pleased to hear the Lord has touched you with healing. Will pray for your complete recovery. :)

Mal 4:2-3:
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. NLT

Great news!
Get rested up and most importantly take advantage of that bed rest!
Make sure to get a little bell to ring everytime you need anything.
