I had no idea that trail was open in the Winter....... I have run it before - long and dusty (in the summer)

It is a road, not a trail.
It looks like even new, stricter regulation will allow over-snow travel on this road until some intersection, I did not get that far.

Dusty? It's a paved road.

We should make a snow-run with a goal to build a BIG snow castle with a few tunnels the middle of nowhere.
