The cool down seem like a firing up period where you get so mad over the the hoops you jump thur that you want to go back and shoot up the place.

Careful they might add another cooldown to cool you down from the cooldown.

May of been sent from my G2, expect errors.

Pay for gun......FBI call.....pass.....done. Indiana is good to us in that aspect!

I had a 6920 had to sell it when I moved back to ca =(

You know our laws are screwy, when I can walk into a store with a gun on my hip and purchase a gun, but the government puts a hold on the purchase.

You know store policy is jacked up when they must escort you out of the store with a gun in a box, while you have a gun on your hip.

;)

Unfortunately common sense is almost nonexistent as applied to gun policy in our country.

True story: Once in Ohio, I was perusing the latest additions in my favorite gun store when there was a bit of a ruckus at the counter. Seems a gentleman was mildly upset because he couldn't pick up his purchase. The problem was the NICS came back with a "hold", requiring the clerk to stop the transaction.
The gentleman in question was the Ohio University campus police chief.
The purchase was three Remington shotguns.(they really need riot guns?.. oh well,..)
The ruckus was due to the fact that he didn't feel he should have to go through all the hassle that "civilians" have to go through, and was making his displeasure known. It didn't help that as the situation became obvious, everyone in the store started openly laughing at the guy. Apparently, it kind flew over his head that civilian police are in fact,.. civilians, and are treated as such by the Feds.

465 in registration fees. Wow. That's ridiculous. I thought the process here was retarded, but that's definitely more aggravating. The fact that there is only 1 firearm seller is a bad thing as well. Don't know what his cost to run the business is, but with no competition he has a corner on the market and can charge whatever he thinks he can get away with. 4 hour class? That should be optional, or include the registration test + ballistic test + getting any and all paperwork together so when she walked to the DMV (really? They can barely handle automotive) all she had to do was pay for paperwork processing fees.

As far as when DROS starts, if you order a gun in Cali, as soon as the shop can get the registration #s on the gun, they can start DROS. At least that's been my experience. Only had to wait 10 days rather than 12 for one of my purchases :)
