Thinking about painting the Jeep.

What color?

Yeah Rev has the Idea. Flat black, the renewable paint job! :D

Flat black on the wheels too!

I too would vote charcoal gray but for simplicity sake, I voted leave it alone and that's what I would do. The tan/wood/black go fine together. If anything, like others have said, change the wheels. I would go with either black soft 8s or Cragar Outlaw IIs (just because those are my favorite wheels). That part has to be up to you and not us though. Again, looks good.

Why don't you prime and paint the bottem back TAN? You will still have the protection of the bed liner underneath, but the classic look of stock WOODIE. And the white wheels will look good with it, Add chrome trim rings to the wheels.:patriot:

IMG code practice, and my first slow day in months...changing the rocker panels would take more time.

I can't find the paint code for it. But I may in time just choose a color and do the whole thing if the black bottom doesnt work out. Guess I will see how bad I mess it up on the trails first.

Rattle can the wheels satin or semi-gloss black and leave it be or at least re-assess after painting the wheels. Seriously, just leave the tires mounted (remove from vehicles obviously), tape them off and spray. After that post up another pic and we can help you decide if you should change it but my magic 8 ball is saying you should leave it.

Ive done this same color "replace" a million times on graphics. This the first time I actually posted my graphics here, in 3 years of NAXJA.

I'm contemplating respraying my 92 heep too. my wheels are even peeling clearcoat now. My favorite solution is spraying the rust , and leaving the rest alone. its a superstition.

new paint attracts trouble, I swear to god it does. Its like wearing white to a spaghetti dinner!
