These damn power windows

Hey guys so I've had issues with my power windows on my 91 XJ. When they work they work fine, up and down. But my problem is they only work in cooler weather. But as soon as the keeps been sitting in the sun or it's hot outside they don't work at all. Anybody else ever ran into this problem? All the help would be greatly appreciated
