Ok, first off, hi all.....haven't been posting much (haven't needed to, most questions can be answered though research!!! I love this forum!!) But, now is time.
Time for tie rods.....I like the idea of knuckle to knuckle, gotta keep $ in mind, got about 3.5" of cheapo lift now, going to 6+" before Spring. Got some mad DW, hopefully my new HD trackbar and CA's will clear that up.
Who's got the best knuckle to knuckle system forn the $? any reason not to go knuckle to knuckle? my stock stuff is toast.

I see the post, but i'm an idiot. I'm not gonna run hiems, just need a new tie rod/drag link. Don't want to ream the knuckles if i can help it, but Iwill if the TR end options are that much better.
Is the stock design the way to go? just beefier parts? Is that Rusty's system junk? I know nothing.

Did you catch this post.

The Currie setup is pretty slick for a moderate lift if you don't want the hassle of getting into a design/build project with a questionable outcome. I like some of Rusty's stuff, but don't have experience with his steering. I've read complaints on the older versions of Rusty's knuckle to knuckle setup and still believe the inverted "Y" is the way to go in most cases. Seems like Goatman had an inverted "Y" over the knuckle setup on his D-44. You might try on search to find more on that.

I'm thinking that the Currie might be the way to go...
that being said, I really don't flex the hell outta this thing, usually mud, roots, ruts, small (basketball-sized) rocks, mud, ruts, snow, logs, and mud.

I would rock crawl, but, well, we have no (big) rocks here in the granite state. live free or die!

:D
