The other 4x4...

I would love to do a a Waggy or J10 with a Cummins/nv4500 and d60/14b and use it as a tow rig for my XJ or for another trail rig I think it would be fun and cheap to do a TDI Sammy

I currently driving this (actually its on jack stands for weeks now !!!1)

02' BlaZeR-2 4.3L V-6 Vortec with assload of bolt-on mods, 4.56 gears, 33x12.50 BFG A/T on 15x8 steelies with only 2" body lift with tons of trimming and a nice set of rock sliders, cowl hood...

I has been considering about to replace it with about 94'-98' 12 valve 4x4 manual cummins like this

My XJ is a trail rig, but I am wanting to find a S-10 (2nd gen) to replace the XJ and build it up to similar as this

Haha I knew all you guys were "mind cheating" on your XJ's :laugh3:

No way, there Will always be an XJ in my stable!

Im all about wj's. Love the coils, love the body, really love the 4.7L motor. Pure hotness. It's the last cherokee type made with solid axles!

We have an 04 wj special edition. I've put sliders on it, a 3 inch Iron Rock lift, Bilsteins, and I've convinced my dad to get some 32's on it. It's bigger than mine!

My dad's, which I do all the work on.

This is to 95' heep, this is my old 00 Blazer with about 80k miles, 6" lift 33s and more. I sold it and bought my beater XJ and could not be happier. IFS is IFS so unless it has a solid axle under it IMO it nothing compared to an XJ for wheeling.

I would however like a new or newer Cummins or a Power Stroke tow rig.;)

Fortuntely for me, I've owned my first choice 4x4 since I was 15. The XJ is second in my heart and always will be.

The old ugly Ford pickup thing! I haven't seen one of those since about 1984. What did they call that where the bed came forward and mated with the back of the cab? If I recall right, they're supposed to be pretty rare. Nice!

I know I know its ugly but very functional :greensmok

The Z will OUT perform the XJ for onroad and on sand dunes, both of the ZR-2 and the XJ have some disadvantage/advantage. to make it much easier by have both! :looser:

One day I want to build my own buggy chassis. I say one day because I don't know when that will ever happen. None the less I have wet dreams about it. :D

As for other 4x4's I currently own

True, I do still miss my blazer....... sometimes it was a nice DD and it looked good. Nice lookin ZR2 BTW.

I took my blazer on some pretty gnarly trails and that is what made me decide to get a vehicle I care a little less about. I sold it with the hopes of buying a Diesel some day.
