The NEXT SNOW RUN (April?)

Just talked to one of my co workers and he will be coming along with his wrangler, he has a 4"lift and new 33's so he should be good to go, so got one more for our list.

12guage, i thought you said you have like 28's or 29" tires, if you get stuck too much, you could pile in my jeep for a while, might tires might rub though. :explosion

Ohh trust me, I have herd noises, and created ones. I do beat it and have wheeled it quite often as I can. Have a few right now. Rear shackle sqeeks like a SOB(poly, non greasable). When we all went to Tahuya, I decided I would try out a rock pile in it. Now when the front flexes out from side to side, there is a poping noise. Maybe shock got over extended or something. The exh rattles on the crossmember, tires howl at freeway speeds( may be front axle). This summer is its rebirth.

Good nite all, will see everyone in the am, by the way if needed i will have an open seat or 2.

Yep you figured it out Matt  I don`t plan on being there. I am working on a redo of winch and bumper mod and maybe a little run with my rock crawler, I saw a place today to play alittle.Enjoy sunday:jester:

We will miss you Howard!

See you all in the morning.

Michael

I tend to agree with the drinking thing. Even with lunch it's plain fawking stupid to drink in cold weather. I don't mind it with lunch, but I personally won't be associated with it in a 'constant' form.
Let's please not forget cold medicine. The perils of operating motor vehicles while under the influence of cold medicines is too important to overlook with this cultural acceptence of narcotics. Also, beware of excess caffine intake of your fellow wheelers. And poppy seeds. All thses things may influence you to make bad choices. Which are bad.

i hope i make it on time tomarrow, if not i got someone's number, and i can rally like mad in the snow to catch up. word.

Set your clock forward NOW. It is offially time (2 a.m.) to move forward an hour. Check your cell phone...it should already be 3 a.m.

See you tomorrow morning!

I never said 'don't' do it...just keep in mind 'appearances' are everything. ;) I've personally never found myself 'needing' a drink at 9am, in the snow, while driving. :read:

Ok here are a few pic from today's snow run, did not get far snow conditions not favorable(slushy kept sinking in), but non the less it was fun just even getting out of the house and spending time with friends.

Well, I agree before lunch we did not make it very far. Those of us in the back bearly even got our wheels in the snow.

The group that hit the snow after lunch did much better. We actually considered going all the way over the pass!! Was probably less than a mile from where we were. But we decided to play it safe and ended up rescuing a few people on the way back out.

I must admit the snow today was the most technical snow I can remember wheeling in! It was not forgiving at all! But, on the other hand it did not get all iced up and make it difficult to stop.

Thanks again for a great trip guys!!

Michael
