THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

really NEED to cage this truck before i go all full blown stupid in it

Is there like some other kind of vehicle that doesn't have a roll bar or anything else that can roll and you don't have to worry about it?

im sure an xj with more pillars, and much lighter weight would hold up much better than a j10 with a regular cab with 1000 lbs of axles, 600 lbs of tires, and lots of metal welded to it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just ordered some of those spring loaded needles and seats for my carb. For 13 bucks. Why the eff not.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I spent $50.

Bought some tubing to connect the fuel vents, two sping loaded needle/seats (one for each bowl) and new gaskets even though I didn't even need them.

There are a ton of writeups all over the interwebs on stuff you can do to make it tolerable.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i like going to the beach with trucks though. its like a regular beach, only less crowded and full of awesome trucks and lots of other trucks to laugh at.

I think we're gonna be on a different beach closer to his house. But yea, smiths point rocks. Got to see a giant small weiner ford on huge tires and a flame paint job get stuck last time I was there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Black parts truck frame/crap just got me 83 bucks, and I haven't even scrapped the cab yet because picking it up is going to bring the suck.

So glad to have that pile of junk gone.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My Jeep still isn't running. I tried grounding out the ASD relay: no dice. I also tried unplugging sensors to see if that would fix anything: nothin'. I don't know what to do form here.

I'm not going to make NACFest.

My thoughts from here is to bring it to an electrical specialist to see if they can find the problem.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Is the engine ground strap in place? A grounding issue or something to do with swapping coil stuff? What can you get the jeep to do, does it even turn over?

is it together completely aside from not making smoke?

I will probably be in your area either tomorrow (if I get my inspection sticker on the MJ tomorrow morning) or monday/tuesday. Let me know if you want me to drop by and poke around / see what I can figure out.

edit: or put a carb on it like all the cool kids this year

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My rock rings came it. Look bitchin' but the wrong size. Bummer. I thinking about still putting the Inner Air Locks on, but do I really wanna go thru all that, only to have to take it all back off again when the correct size rings come in?

All grounds are attached and the cleanest they have ever been.

It turns over and the fuel pump primes. I'm not getting any firing from the injectors and no spark either.

It is completely together. Only the HID harness is not wired 100%.

If you want to stop by i'd appreciate it. I'm out of ideas as of now. PM me if you don't have my cell number already.

Side note- Mr. Wires is a faggot.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Adam, have you tried using all your stock ignition stuff even if just laid across the top of the engine rather than the viper coil?
