The MJ Makeover...

.......I've drooled over this truck since I first saw it

LOL... If your interested, lets talk.

Andy, do you have any recent pics?

No, hence the reason I have not officially listed it for sale. I am really hoping someone like you guys would want it though. My MJ is basically as built as any MJ can be (on D30 and D44 axles) and still very reliable and street driven regularly. I would have no issues at all jumping in it and driving 500 miles. It has very rare MJ rock rails, and a custom (practically one-off) Protofab rear bumper. You can see the bumper in the vid. It extends all the way down the rear frame rails to just inside the rear wheel well. Pure beef. Are you seriously interested?

Andy, I do have a serious interest in this. I actually spoke to my father about this today. Is there any rust on the thing? Anything you can tell me about it? PM me when you have a chance please.

Here are pics I took quickly today. Its is not washed, but gives you a good idea. There is a slight bit of rust on the drivers side rear fender, on the front corner. And the lower cab corner on that side has some rust too. I can take better pics, but this was just a quick few I snapped off earlier.

looks awesome, I'd seriously consider getting rid of the cherokee for an MJ, but I have a house to pay for now.

Very interested in this Andy, let me know when you think of a firm price on it and hopefully I can come by and check it out.

Andy is on vacation for a week ... not sure if he is checking NAXJA.

But, I'm pool-sitting for him so everyone is welcome to stop by anytime for a swim!!!! I'm sure we can hotwire his Jeeps and run them around.

LOL... everyone enjoy the pool??? Sorry you couldn't get to the Jeeps, they were both put away for the week. I PM'ed Chris, we'll probably catch up soon.

How did I never notice the way you have the two tone fenders set up? That's pretty neat.

I am, but unfortunately cash is hard to come by when you're shopping for an engagement ring (thank god Carol doesnt look at the NAC site, I cant believe I just said that! LOL)...Trade is all I can do.

OK... starting to think about putting this out for the rest of the Jeeping world to see... Anybody on here that is seriously interested? I'll give it a few days, then start listing it on a few of the local offroad club sites.

A.

Hey Andy, sorry I never got back to you about the MJ after your vacation. I've thought about this thing a lot, and I would really like to take it off your hands, but I really don't think I can afford this at the moment. It a shame, because it looks and sounds like a well built machine.

Being "grown up" sucks.

I know this thread is ridiculously old, but what backspacing were you running on your wheels to keep them under the stock flares, and what size tire? Its rare to see a jeep with big tires covered completely
