This morning, the wife told me that I never make anything anymore.
So to prove her wrong, I fabbed up a great lasagna.
Made it from scratch (all except the noodles) and it took about three hours.
Here's the write-up.
First, I chopped and sliced the onions and garlic cloves.
Next, I browned the onions, garlic, and ground beef.
Then, in a large pot, I simmered, for an hour, the browned beef, onions, and garlic blend with diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, whole tomatoes, and tomato paste.
At this time, I transferred the sauce and I boiled the noodles, as well.
After boiling, I laid the noodles out to dry for about ten minutes.
Finally, I layered the ingredients, including ricotta, parmesean, and mozzarella cheeses, and dashed oregano on every layer (three layers total) until I ran out of stuff and baked for fourty-five minutes.
The finished product made enough to feed
.
Too bad your all not here.
Damn it was good and there's still 3/4 of the pan left.
PM me and I'll send you some.
