The JD is parked in the barn. Time to play with da CAT

About half way though the pics, my 2 yr. 8 month old son, sitting on my lap asks; "Daddy...him broke his Jeep?.......him fix it?" Well sort of... :D

Awesome job, the pics help you get an understanding up the amount of work that goes into something like that. Incredible!

Um we figure over 300 feet... or somewhere in there. mostly 1.75". But lots of 1.5" and some small amounts of 1.25". Some square here and there. And yes it was a lot of work.

Specs:
Front End
78 Ford High pinion front narrowed 6". Lengthend radius arms, ARB Locker, 5.38 gears, Warn shafts, Longfeild joints, Stazworks beadlocks with 37x17 MTR tires.

Rear End
Currie 44, spool, 5.38 gears, Explorer Disc Brakes, Stazworks Beadlocks with 37x17 MTR's.

I thought you could only get 5.13's in the front 44 ford? Where you get them?

Any update on how much/how little axle-wrap you have with the reversed leafs and what you did/are going to do about it?

Enquiring minds want to know.

The CAT is getting a 60 in the rear. Full float, 35 spline, 5:38 gears, with a detroit. All bought for a song & a dance from a buddy. I'm going to 4 link it with Rock equipments air shocks. The reversed leafs lasted awhile, but the wrap was evident & I bent one leaf getting winched backwards after a failed attempt at a steep climb because I ran out of gas.:wierd:
