bummer dood. Glad to hear you're alright. I have no experience/insight on injuries or insurance companies. Just a guy tellin ya good luck and everything will work out in the end. When in comes time for a monster garage swap, keep me in mind.

reincarnated. Dad wanted me to tell you that he is glad your ok and he was a little curious if the eeee's are still intact.

Like I told you on the phone yesturday, we can go get him and bring him to our place anytime. That way he can swap BOOBOO stories with others.

Nah, it's at the tow yard right now. It happened right in front of the yard, which made it very convenient. Farmers has been extremely helpful and very professional. It's like they've done this before. ;) From there it'll go up to George's probably so I can get to work on it.

I had a challenge from another buddy about getting it ready in time for Memorial Day weekend. :D:D:D Not sure if THAT is going to happen, but I should be set by NWFest, even if it's a little guy on 31s and a front locker. :clap:

Sounds like a buy back from the insurance company is in your future. When my buddies XJ got hit by a bus, I bought the title from the insurance company for $50 and pulled his motor to put in my 88.

Buy some tube, lots of tube.

Never got a chance to meet ECKSJAY, sorry to here of his fate, but very glad that his human is OKAY!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your XJ ECKSJAY. I also wish I could have seen it in person. I can foresee that you will rise from this devistation to build a new ECKSJAY that will put ALL others to shame. Looking forward to seeing it at NWfest.

P.S. How are you feeling? I've known a lot f people who walked away from accidents but had soarness and injuries arise several days after (of course they could be faking it ;) ).

Thanks again, guys.

Adjuster called me today. Totaled.

I ran into work (not literally!) and printed a quote on all my parts and faxed it to him. We're going to get it out of the tow yard and into the insurance yard. We're going to negotiate either a payout or buyback. Still not sure what's up yet. Sentimental value is out at this point. I'll take the photos and memories and make this strictly a business decision. There's just no way in hell this thing is going to be back on the road, so it'll be a swap if anything. I don't know the condition of the rear springs or the rear axle, for that matter.

We'll see.

Report today is that I'm sore and Icy Hot is my friend. Nothing spectacular to talk to the doc about, though. My wife will probably beat me into submission tonight and I'll end up in Urgent Care, if not only for the happy meds to make it easier to cope. ;)

I sincerely appreciate the offers and I'm going to take all of you up on it. :) Wrench and Roast? :D I'd probably set up pulled pork and feed everyone BBQ.

The coming days will tell. I'll keep you all posted. Greatest group, ever.
