The BRAC is out!

We faired pretty good... Brooks City closes, but with Lackland and Fort Sam's gains we net about 4000 positions in San Antonio. WOOHOO more brats to wheel with!

Concord Naval Weapons Station (and it's a skeleton of what it once was) is on the list...looks like Travis AFB will be all that's left around here.

2nd largest natural harbor on the west coast, and the largest military presence is the Coast Guard...probably has nothing to do with our politics :gag:

Wa State did well. :)

didn't we actually GAIN some ?? I know the Oregon Air national guard guys took a beating...something like 400 + being relocated. Some to Kentucky ? WTF is in Kentucky?

There is NOTHING like watching them take off from only about 100 yards away.

Especially when they go strait up. INTENSE. That one shot costs more than I pay in taxes in a year.

I have no idea what a Kentucky is, or even what street it is on. Must be close to Canada? :) Don't they have a "Fort" made outta Soup or sumpin? Campbels or something?

Here is the list I have:

We lost a lil (mostly Reserves), changed a Lil... but that is ok. We are getting the 2d Armored Cavalry Regt. to Ft Lewis. One of the better units in the United States Army.... and one of the oldest. :)

Damn Skippy! But they took the "Armored" out of the Armored Cavalry. We are now Infantry based.

2CR Hooah!

LEAD. Letterkenny Army Depot made out very well, I work in Power Support. Of couse all of this is pre-Bush pre-Congress. But at least it's open for now.

Always Ready!

As long as they keep the old Regiment going...I am happy.

Still waiting to hear from you. :)
