What is that? i was lookin at my comanche when i bought it and it was missing the linkage. what does it do???!!!

I know that I am replying to an old question, but that is the height sensing proportioning valve. It changes the amount of braking pressure from the front to the rear depending on the load in the bed.

this is a nice kit i posted the link to your site to a couple other xj owners on diffrent site's that are looking to get rid of there turdy5's

i was thinking of the swap my self and this is the kit i would have bought but i think i will stick to the 8.25 for now

nice product

so i ordered some spring perches, u bolt plates, and tire carrier plate from Dan a short while ago. it was shipped fast as always. i was extremely happy with the order, especially what the packing material was- the escort section of his local classifieds! i wonder if Dan was trying to tell me something...:smootch::smoker:

Maybe you ought to get out more.....;)

I got a question. a dum one at that, Does you kit have templets for mounting the spring perces or do i just need to measure it :eyes: ?
Im doing the swap and i understand that the center diff is offset just a little. Ive seen the links but no one talkes about mounting the perces in the right spot. I want your kit but i have to wait for the money to jump in the bank!!!! :eyes:

Thank you Dan!

Thank you Dan!

We don't make a template because our swap kits are used on so many different chassis's. To get your center just measure from 2 fixed points. Either flange to flange or rotor face to rotor face...

I just completed my 8.8 install with this kit, it seemed that the shock mounts were notched as to mount the shocks on top of the tube would have been way to short a distance for my shocks. I renotched them to mount on the side but if I did so it would seem that the shaft of the shock wound bend when flexing the axle. I ended up using the ones off my 8.25 but moving them up flush with the tube. What have others done with this kit?

Ordered these on 1-21-10 over the phone. Good customer service and fast shipping. Two thumbs up!!! oh and a NAXJA discount!!!
