too much slack also. Best thing to do is run a ratcheting tie down strap from one side of the back seat to the other (at the bottom, from hinge to hinge) and then attach the car seat strap to that.

isn't that the child seat tether kit that you can get from the dealer? it looks like it too me, but what do i know
