It can be done. The caliper brackets & the rotors need opened up a little to fit.

So the mounting holes for the calipers need drilled bigger and the inside of the rotor needs milled out? Like where ebrake pads ride. What if I don't need ebrake to work?

it would be less work to just mount the hole damn 8.8 under

use explorer discs for the XJ D44 and ZJ or libertiy discs for the 8.25

yes all parts can be had for retail. Backing plates tend to be more $$. I just got backing plates at the PNP, sounds like you would need to buy new or find a member willing to ship some.

my explorer centric calipers were $30 each on rockauto, no core charge.

Liberty is no brainer, it came with 8.25. Zj came with d44a or d35 I thot? Either axle swaps over to 8.25?

Yeah just open up the center hole with a drum sander or something. 50 grit drum does the job in a few minutes.
