tellico map

I've been making the maps for Rausch Creek and I've learned a lot about how Topo 4 works, so I took my old paragon map, converted it to that program, and updated it best I could being I haven't been in the park since last summer. Here's a link to it. It doesn't have the trail numbers on it, but you can print out the listing of trails and their numbers off paragon's site.

This map is for folks who have been to the park before and understand the trail system and the boundaries. I thought those of you who go there will enjoy seeing the topography of the land.

Thanks Lynn - so, how soon before we can expect a Rausch Creek one of the same quality? :D

Or, are we going to continue to learn that network the old-fashioned way - one tree at a time!

See you soon.

I have maps for Rausch done now, but each weekend they are getting changed due to the continuing efforts at scouting and building trails. By April things will have settled down a bit and maps will then be available at the park and hopefully online.

no link? password?

Hey, I didn't see the links, and saw your album was password protected on the tealxj page... I'd love to see the maps... :)

I was updating the map I made from my trip to Tellico last fall to the new software I got. You can see it now. I'll be going back there in August and hope to get Trail 2 and 3 added to it. If you want a map of that other place, you can get it from their website.

Anybody who's been to Telllico and had a memorable incident there, give me a very brief description and what trail or obstacle it happened on. My idea is to start adding descriptive notes to the map I made. I believe John B. and Lawncher had some interesting things happen down there.
