This is really bugging me and I'm going to again use
to vent. I enjoy hearing what you guys have to say... most of the time :roflmao:
So anyways, I'm sick of hearing about this homeless guy who has a great voice. If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about just google "Ted Williams."
There's a reason this guy became homeless. As he even admits himself, he abused drugs to the point that he eventually lost everything. Oh, and he had 5 kids that he abandoned in the process. However, his ex-wife who he also abandoned raised their 4 children (plus another of his kids who he had with another woman) to adulthood and are said to be productive members of society.
My feelings are pretty much embodied by this article:

So why are "we" going crazy over this guy and nobody even knows his ex-wife's name? And I'm sure there are many other individuals like her who are also going nameless and unappreciated. And why does it seem like Americans care more about this guy than about taking time to stay informed about politics and the direction of this country? It would be different if the economy wasn't tanking and our country wasn't becoming less and less exceptional in almost every way, every day.
Frustrating.
Oh, here's a story on the ex-wife:
