it was basically a u bolt plate extended over to contact the bump made out of 2 pieces of 1/4" plate welded together one on top of the other. it may have been 3/16 plate but it looked thicker than that to me.
Ok I read it that the bumpstop hit the top of the spring. My rear bumps are set up then like their original setup. I've bent the plate. It needs some sort of support underneath the plate.
