Had originally posted in another section but think it would fit better here.Ok here goes. I have 4k to spend on the XJ this coming month. Engine mods are long overdue. I am looking to buy already made kits, not DIYS just for the sake of time. I want her going before spring. The engine only has 100k on it so I was leaning toward a sprintex supercharger kit from 505 for $3500. I've read good and bad about that kit (as for life and power increase). I do have an extra 4.0 core so I could always buy a new stroker and keep my current engine for, well, backup I guess lol. Or I could go with a turbo kit from 505 but I didn't like the idea of having that much more heat in the oil system/intake etc. All that's been done to my jeep so far engine wise is roller rockers, flashpaq, exhaust, and intake. Again, I want a complete plug and play system for 4k and under range. Thanks guys!

Since your engine is relatively low mileage I would go with the Sprintex or the turbo. I'm sure Sprintex is better designed seeing as how some of 505's own parts are. Keep in mind you may also want at least an wide band O2 gauge. Plug and play, i doubt anything is.

Wow, a plug for the 'better designed' Sprintex Supercharger kit.

It says what it says. There is no other competition.

Why not buy a stroker? Or hit up Boostwerks and see if you can pay him to build you a turboed setup? Or if ya wanna get crazy buy a stoker and get boost to turbo it :) not sure if that's even doable but it sure sounds cool

GM V8 LQ/LS swap FTW!
