JOB TITLE: Shipping and Customer Service Clerk
SUMMARY OF JOB: Provides shipping services for a company who specializes in manufacturing of heavy duty bumpers, sliders and armor for several models of Jeeps. Responsible for shipping of all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. Provides assistance to JCR Offroad, customers regarding current order status, shipping of current orders along with processing new orders.
NATURE OF DUTIES PERFORMED:
• Packages and ships all outgoing orders. Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Provides customer service via phone, email and in person.
• Processes customer orders, as appropriate, in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and skills preferred.
• Meets all shipping deadlines.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting all orders and inventory.
• Ability to utilize social media and email for customer service and marketing purposes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Tracks all outgoing orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
REPORTING
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager, JCR Offroad .
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and at least one year of experience working in quality control and inspection, in the manufacturing or automotive field preferred. Experience in customer service is also preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to organize, manage time and prioritize.
