Just found out about this area, searched as much as I could. Was wondering if anyone been to the trails lately? Are some of them closed due to logging? How difficult is the area. Thanks

Most trails are easy, some are closed to logging, but most of the logging is over so as soon as some cleanup and signage is done it will be totaly open.you looking for easy or something with a challenge.? Close or abit of a drive ?

I'm open to anything, close or a bit of a drive, easy or hard. Didn't know anything about Tahuya so I thought I'd ask. I normally wheel in B.C., moved to the area 3 years ago. With work, a new child and all I'm finally getting settled with everything and want to get back to do some wheeling. Just trying to get as much info on trails (hard, easy, scenery, worth exploring) so thanks for the response. Just found the site NWJEEPN-great detail on alot of trails. Maybe NAXJA or at least the local chapters could put out some detailed info on trails by people who have alot of experience with these areas. Just a thought. thanks again.

I know its late notice, but what are you doing tomarrow ?
We are headed to East for a day of wheelin in the Little Naches area leaving Enumclaw Safeway 8am. Or join us next month for NW FEST...

I was excorted through an area of Tehuya by Joe. He was at our last (was supposed to be) snow run that I went on. He Lives close.

I am out in Yelm. Stop by if you want to BS. Until NW Fest, I am going to be busy getting parts on the Jeep, but after that? I am up for anything on Sunday or Monday. My wife prefers to go with. That would leave me with a Sunday.

here is a little info on tahuya http://www.4x4trailhunters.com/trail.php?id=31 Some of it is closed due to logging. The trail aren't that hard but it can be fun for less modded vehicles. Qudra paws recently dug out some of the trails to make them a little more challenging. There is always people running around in tahuya, so it's not to difficult to find someone to tag along with. I was gonna go tommorow, but I am working the bugs out of my xj. If you would like to go sometime soon let me know, a couple of guys I know and myself go out there often.

Joe, I would love to run out there, but have too many things on my "need to do list". Maybe next weekend?

I HAVE SUNDAYS OFF!!!

YES!

I like taking my rig out to Tahuya, lemme know when you're goin maybe I can make it out that way...

I think I'm going to try for Sunday, but I have duty on Saturday so I might be kinda exhausted.. depends on if I have the 0000-0530 watch or not, and if my gf will kill me or not. LoL You know what, on another note I bought an angle grinder today and the bastard didn't hve the lower retainer! I can't install a wheel on it, man was... AM I pissed, I coulda been cutting steeel all afternoon but no.. some a-hole had to help himself and leave a defective product for someone to buy. Jeez... Ok I'm done, thanks all!

Looks like my primary issue for Sunday is cancelled. I need to see if I trimmed enough of this flare, or if I need to start cutting the fender. Where and what time are we meeting?

I should work on the Jeep, but need to know where my clearance issues are.

How about late morning? McDonalds? Somewhere?

Who is up for it?

I'd like to go out to Tehuya sometime, but don't know that I should go until I get my rear U-Joint worked on as Dave from Northridge told me it was in kinda bad shape in March when he did my lift... Still, money is short for a while, and I'm tempted to go out for a mellow run just to try it out. I'd be up a creek if I broke my XJ as it's my daily driver and wife would be pissed if I even asked to drive her 96 Grand Limited. Hehe!
