sye question

I would go with a Tom Woods kit. For not too much more money you can also get the drive shaft. There a re a few sponsors in the for sale area that can hook you up or you can get a hold of tom woods himself and order direct.

You need also a new rear drive shaft with CV joint (costant velocity)...
Or you can use one front stock XJ drive shaft in the rear but don't know if all works fine. Try to "search" and you will find all the answers about useing a front stock CV driveshaft in the rear.
Diego.

I have that sye installed on my cherokee and it worked out great. I got a drive shaft out of a Ford truck, dont know what year or anything, it was laying in a bin at the junkyard and a worker there familliar with what I was doing said it's what alot of people use for this set-up. I made sure the flange matched and bought the whole shaft for 20 bucks. Then took my measurements to my local driveshaft shop and had it completely re-built and balanced for 180.00 bucks. So I have $200.00 in shaft, saving over a $100.00 compared to Tom Woods. Not to nock him though, his stuff is the best and he will talk you through any problems. His website also explains pinion angles as they are different with a slip yoke style shaft compared to a double cardan(cv) shaft.

See my thread on "humming Noise"

Make sure you get the driveshaft balanced with the SYE flange as an assembly, if not just read my thread.
