SYE and drive shaft

I want to buy a SYE and replacement driveshaft for my auto 1987 2.5L XJ.

1. Anybody have experience with a particular vendor/sponsor?
2. I need to trust the Vendor as I don't have any place local and need correct parts.
3. I have little or no driveline knowledge as to exact matching parts.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Hey Roger, haven't heard from you in a bit, everything going ok? I like the Tom woods SYE, little more costly than the rest but a better product in my opinion.

If you call tom and tell him what you want he will walk you through taking the measurements and build it for you. It will fit, he guarantees it.

Mark, I just returned from vacation
We will remove the axle tomorrow. I need to know when it will work to get it to you and if we can meet somewhere in the middle

I'd like to get the SYE and the driveshaft before putting back together but it will be hard to get measurements without it being back in. For the shaft measurements would I need the SYE installed already?

Any thoughts appreciated!

I have used neither of these but have heard good things about both, about as local as you are going to get around here I think.

Personally, I have used High Angle Driveline and recieved some very nice products from Jesse and I know severel others who have used Tom Woods and are pleased.

X2 and got my SYE from him to. Just go to there site for the basic measurements then he will take care of the rest for you. No you do not need to have the SYE on to get measurements fore the ds. He can figure that out rear easy for ya. Thats how I did mine anyways.

Yea the SYE needs to be in but if you buy the SYE in from him he will incorporate the dimensions of it into your stock numbers.

I wouldn't be able to meet you during the week but next Sunday I can meet you. Saturday I have prior arrangements.
