Im not sure if it was nationwide or just here, but i got a 248 piece tool set for 138 bucks!......less than 50 cents a piece! Is something up with sears? are they going under or just crazy?

Sears always has screamin' deals like that. I've gotten most of my tools that way. The only problem is that none of the giant sets have the complete range of most of the tools. You end up spending 5 to 30 bucks a piece picking up the odds and ends that you are missing. I usually wait until they have coupons for 10 to 20 bucks off of Craftsman items and something like 10% off as well when you use your sears card. When you start stacking up the rebates, you can get those odds and ends for a decent price.

yeah, on my monthly bill statements i get coupons for either 10% off or 5$ off purchases (i used two 5$ off ones along with the 60% off sale today) It may not contain everything i will need, but its a great start compared to what i have now.

I get most of my stuff there. My trail kit is the black Blow molded one that has the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 sets in it. Deep and regular and 6 and 12 point. All for less than $300 last year. My next investment will be metric reversable ratching wrenches. I got a 5 peice set of standard recently and I find my self reaching for them b4 anything else!!!!
