So i just got some RE discos from a guy, well i cant get them on. I got the old sway bar link off, but the guy never sent the screws to connect the top of the disco to the sway bar. And i also dont know how they are supposto mount to the sway bar. Then you know the mount on the axle that comes up, then the little screw that comes out of it, where the bottom or the disco connectes, "where you take it off" he dident send me that screw eather? I also cant get the stock screw of that part to come off?? Help you guys, if you also have pics of it i can see of something. Maybe someone that has done this before can come over after they get off work and help me. I live in thornton off of 112th and colorado blvd.

Use a torch and heat it up then hit it out with a BFH...

Ok ill try that. But i still dont know what type of screws i need to go get, or which direction the top of the discos goes on, or what type of screw.

That screw/bolt you're referring to is pressed in. On mine we were able to hammer it out on side (one of us held a big hammer against the bracket to keep it from bending while the other pounded on the bolt). On the other side we had to cut the bolt down and use a gear puller to press it out.

Ok well do i just go buy any grade 8 bold for it then after i get it out??

What about the top, where ths disco connects to the sway bar, what type of blot do i use there? And when i get it, just screw it on, and nut it, b/c the sway bars opening for the bolt looks pritty big, and is dented down??

I also cant figure out does the disco mount to the top or the bottom of the sway bar. Like the disco comes up, then theres a red piece that comes off where you screw it into the sway bar, does that piece go on top or on bottom of the sway bar? And should i screw it from the top or bottom?

I ended up getting them on, and they fit good. We just cut the orignal bolt to fit, and it works great. Then we used grade 8 bolts for the top, and everything is good. Thanks for the help
