i've received quite a few PM's with questions so i took a few more pictures and started a thread with a title that actually tells what the thread is about.

here is my rig:

i swapped in a 1977 ford f150 high pinion D44. i cut off the radius mounts and turned them to get better caster angle. i also made all mew brackets to get everything to jive right.

new spring mounts so the springs would not bow:

I reused the stock radius arms but sleeved the stud with tube and added a threaded insert and a heim joint

Can you put some images of that crossmember up that are clean and detailed? I'm looking into this and would like to see more of what you have done. And pictures of houw you did the adaptation from stock to that heim. Looks like you took a solid piece of metal and drilled and tapped it for the stock Ford Radius arms? What keeps it from backing out? is there a jam nut of some sort?

and could you please just let me know what dia. tube you used for the radius arm extensions?

you ever been out to baroid mines out by magnet cove? we usually wheel out there when were broke. lol.

if you guys would join the club you'd never be to broke to wheel at superlift :laugh3: and you get into the SWFWDA event next month for a little labor

I can't say it enough Matt, I'm loving it. As soon as i find some axles without the cast mounts i'll be doing something similar
