It really depends on the rest of the girl. Too many variables, y'know? The main one being face shape and structure - different shapes are complemented more by different hairstyles and lengths.
One thing I do know - I tend to prefer straight hair over curly or waved, and I think it should be worn loosely about the neck and shoulders, or perhaps gathered back (not pulled tight enough to simulate a facelift, just gathered together) into a single tail in the back. (And use restraint in putting on makeup - if I wanted a heavily made-up girl, I'd chase after Tammy Faye Bakker...)
Oh - and don't shave! It's a garden, God gave it to you, let it grow! I can stand trimming and/or shaping, but don't strip it all off. I don't want to feel like I'm chasing around prepubescent girls (and I need to get a good flossing somehow...)
That's why the 1970's and 1980's were the Golden Age of Porn - this whole "shaving" fashion craze hadn't hit yet...

Dunno - never got into that. Haven't really been able to get into the current "gonzo" porn, either - most of it's just too damned strange.
That, and in their prime I honestly think that Seka and Juliet Anderson were better looking than most of the women in porn these days. Sure, there are some more thick women these days (Lisa Sparxxx comes irresistibly to mind...) but there was less surgery, more hair, and more plotlines (if you can dig that!) in porn 20-30 years ago than there is now...

i think that almost all the black chicks with hair shorter than a soldiers high and tight is damn ugly.

Dunno - for me, most black chicks just have facial proportions that are off-putting. I don't find a lot of black women to be really attractive (Victoria Rowell comes to mind. Halle Berry ain't bad. But most of them have a "monkey face" - that strongly resembles the face of a chimp. Beastiality ain't my speed.)
This doesn't have anything to do with racism - I do find some black women attractive! Just not so much, in the main. (I've always been drawn to rounder or more oval faces anyhow, for some odd reason. Might tie in with why I've always liked short women?)

Ultraconservative? Perhaps. In this case, "Beauty lies in the eye of the beer holder." If proportions are pleasing to me, we're good. If they're not, we're not. 34-24-34 (fashion model) standards don't do so much for me. 36-24-36 is tedous - everyone's trying to do it. 38-30-24 - now we're getting somewhere!

and now back to the topic... depends on the woman and how she carries herself. Jamie Lee Curits with short hair in "True Lies" ... HOT. some women can pull it off. i do prefer a long haired woman though, but as stated earlier as long as her hair is longer than mine, i could care less.
