I have had this Superwinch Talon 12.5, 12,500 lb. 12V winch sitting in the dining room for one to two years, and....not sure if I'll ever get to the mounting project, so...have reluctantly decided to let it go to someone who will put it to use....!
Well-rated, quality winch. I did go ahead and remove and sell the steel cable it came with, as I had intended to use synthetic line. {That....being the awesome Masterpull Superline XD which not only has the tough outer-sheathing, but is from the time when they made them/rated it at 26,500 lbs. at the 3/8" diameter...!! Incredible line....which I'm also likely to offer, again...quite reluctantly, as I'll wish I hadn't at some point, I'm sure....)
I did use the original carton to ship something to Singapore not long ago, so no original carton. I'm sure I must have the instructions somewhere, so will need to search, but...not much one needs therein, I imagine, and should be available on the Superwinch site, as well.
Offered at $700., a great opportunity to save some cash and also have the option to spool up your own choice of line.
Located in Foxboro, MA, and I can usually accommodate a visit most anytime.
