Super Seat Covers

Can somebody explain the "Molle" mounting system it's talking about. I tried finding a pic of the back of one of the pouches but I couldn't. So, the back of this seat cover is just covered with those mounting points and you can buy different pouches/bags (like on cheaperthandirt.com) and put whatever you want on it?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOLLE_(military)

What Molle is a way to strap modules into it (don't know how to describe it better). The mount points are on the back, front and sides of the seat cover.

I just got mine today ..

I can say that like for an item made in china - its pretty heavy duty - same good craftsmanship like on the US made modern army gear - strong sewing, cordura etc

It fis very well on my one piece seat - 97 XJ

I wish they were selling just a cover it self though - without all these pouches. Reason is that I have enough all kind of army molle stuff I can put on. And altough I would love to get another cover for passanger side - I dont feel like spending another $100 for a pouches I alredy have. I could use just the set panel itself for lets say $25 or so...

anyway - I like it and I think its one of the best "gadgets" for my truck I'v ever bought

OK... you have to choose a color and stick with it.... that just looks... BAD :)

eee.. You dont know anything about colors and trends :spin1: heheheeheh :laugh3:

plus.. the middle ACU pouch is a USARMY medical trauma kit - maybe usefull ..

Is there anything in the seat bottom piece that prevents it from sliding around or would I have to load up those pouches with rocks?

5 point compatible? Just cut a hole in the front for the sub belt?

Anyone know how I could light a fire under Smittybilt's customer service? Sent them three emails in as many weeks and haven't heard back.

Guess I'll try their number tomorrow.

Call them, you shouldn't rely on emails so much. its a lot easier to get a straight answer when your on the phone with someone.

What are you guys using your pouches for?

I use one of the Frag grenade pouch for my CB handset.
The other grenade pouch holds my headlamp.
I've got a flashlight in one of the sheaths and a multitool in the other.
I keep a microfiber cloth in one of the big pouches for cleaning windows/spills.
The other utility pouch has a tire pressure gauge and some other small tools.
I keep a rain coat in one of the side open pouches.
The other side open pouch has a small blanket in it.
I have my GPS stuff in one of the gadget bags.
I use one of the roll up dump pouches for trash, with a shopping bag as a liner.

Can't figure out what to put in the ammo pouches, been thinking about maybe using it for extra batteries.

It is amazing how much stuff these seat covers can hold. I still have quite a bit of room left in my pouches for more stuff.

I have had several back seat passengers now, without any issues.

They aren't big enough to hold the amount of ammo I shoot, but that is another story.

In all seriousness I was thinking about getting a couple mag pouches to keep some of my AK mags in, but in IL they don't like it when a loaded mag is within reach of the driver.

Hey Kuligow,
Where did you get the grimlock D ring? The only place I can find them for under $7 is sold out.

I got it together with some other gear - I think it was a FLC ACU vest....

hunt on ebay.. maybe You will find them ?!

there are bunjee cords holding the bottom flaps - You just have to hooke up to something there... Cover is not sliding too much

Well just to update, Smittybilt will not sell them as just the the cover (minus the attachments). Maybe eBay to sell the attachments?
