Two more things off my Moab list (spool/c-clip eliminator in my 8.8)

Old

New

My diff catcher (I broke a bearing race on the front when it hit the concrete coming out when I lost grip on it)

Old axle tube with brake flange

After cutting the bearing section off the end

Pressing the new bearing adapter on the tube

New shaft with the bearing and retainer pressed on

Took a pic without the brake stuff so you could see how it comes together (and that's my story - I did not forget to put it on, I was just trying to get a better picture)

All finished up minus rotor and caliper

Ready for wheels with my fancy new sticker

It's not a driver anymore with the spool. I can't buy tires all the time. but from the people I've talked to, you can drive it if you have to.

i used to dd my spool.... it can be done, just wave bye bye to your tires
