I got the new hubs on, bushings in the track bar, brown dog motor mounts, transmission mount, Hella light mounted on the bumper and a CB installed.arty:

Next weekend is the shackle relocation kit and crown lines.

I dont think i will ever be done. as soon as i am happy with something i seem to find a way to change it.

I'm thinking of Brown Dog motor mounts. Easy install? Did you go for the Brown Dog tranny mount also?

Tell me about it, I've always liked Jeeps so I finally got one 2.5 years ago. I was happy to get my bone stock XJ and to own something I didn't need to worry scratching and I could throw all my RC airplane crap in it. Well it needed some work so I made it run good and some how I ended up with a baby lift and some 32's...now its got a 44, locker, gears, armor...ect and more stuff on the way. I lifted it a little more to "fine tune" the stance and now I want more. It never ends. As for my other projects, a 66 Mustang GT and a 2004 GT, they are on hold. I've put all my time and money in my Jeep and I get way more use out of it. Looking back on it I should of had a XJ from the get go. I just love my Jeep. Like I said if you ever need help with your junk let me know, I'll give you a hand as long as I'm free.

the motor mounts are not to bad if you do it the right way. I had a hell of a time getting everything to line back up so i had to drop the tranny mount then it all went in the right way. I didnt get the brown dog tranny mount because they are still working on it but i will when it is released. the mounts are nice. I would go with the rubber ones not the poly ones though because it vibrates pretty bad. I am actuelly thinking about switching and i just put them in. i iwll let you know when i do.

Yeah dude pics...I like seeing DD's and projects. Magazine articles are nice to look up to but I'm all about works in progress and junk that actually see's trail time.

I was going to sell it but its a great jeep and i love working on it. I am just going to throw a trailer hitch on it and tow bikes instead of getting a truck.
