stuck in Corona

Yea, its private property but the guy that owns the lot knows its there. He just doesnt want anybody moving it or causing more damage to the fence unless we know for sure we can get it out. I think both the property owner and the owner of the Suburban will BOTH be very happy to just get it out of there, I spoke with the owner of the truck just now on the phone and he is getting the parts to fix his 4WD, hopefully that will be done before we get there and it will make it that much easier.

BTW he seems like a really nice guy that didnt mean any harm and ended up in a bad situation which is why Im trying to help him out, he say's he has been comming out there for years and never had any issues and likes "exproling/adventure" type 4wheeln but just dosnt have any 4wheeln buddy's. Maybe after all this is over we can convice him to buy a Jeep and tag along with us! :)

So now what? He needs to get to the top of that hill in front of him? It's almost easier to take the fence down behind him and back out onto that driveway.....

No he needs to go forward uphill about 20 feet hang a left and follow his tracks out. With no working 4wd itll be very hard to keep him from sliding out and getting stuck again because of another smaller hill he will need to cross to get out. Still doable in 2wd if he keeps getting tugged through it bu that adds some complexity seeing its so slippery and his suburban is so much heavier it could drag the xj off line with it

well if they still need my dads truck hopefully by the weekend it'll be sort of dry so the big heavy 1 ton doesnt get stuck either! my dad does have a pair of snow chains for it though so i guess we could put 'em on the rears for more traction. it also has some all terrains so traction would'nt be terribly bad.

Yea, he can go backwards, there is no way out. What looks to be a driveway is actully a small brick wall... The picture is just deciving. As far as the 4wd goes it just quit working, I know those Chevys have a actuator for the front diff. Similar to our XJ's vac. Disconnect but his is electric. He bought a new one and also did some research on how to just lock in the front axle. Either way I think he has it figured out. I don't think it should be too hard getting him out now that he is facing up.

Good new guys! He went down there today and fixed the 4WD on his 'Burban. Then he managed to drive it himself! Thanks for trying to help everybody!

theres an offroad shop near there right by sportys bar, behind the jacuzzi hottube place, im sure those guys will have something there to pull him out with if you still need it.
